Read how technology can help support staff well-being as well as business growth
In and among the social distancing brought about by coronavirus, people are finding new ways to connect, both personally and professionally.
This new world of Whats App groups offering neighbours a virtual hand and Zoom sessions encouraging people to engage in a new skill or form of exercise, to keep active, whilst we are limited to one form of exercise outside the confides of our living room a day are the norm.
Yet when it comes to work, our mobile Whats App groups are pinging and zoom seems to be the preferred method by some organisations. Until that is of course, Microsoft Teams enters the picture.
WW Computer Systems is a personable, IT Support Consultancy, based in London; supporting over 125 businesses in the UK, and is engaging with their clients through and about Microsoft Teams.
CEO, Marc Lester explains that, “by working with Microsoft Teams, our clients are able to get the best out of their workforce whilst they are working from home. Collaboration between staff is fantastic. Microsoft Teams also has a telephone and video conference system built in – we have daily company-wide ‘huddles’ allowing us to work more efficiently than even being in the office!”
Marc explains how at WWCS they believe it is essential that their clients work with their employees to engage in other ways to how they may get their exercise and stay in touch with their friends, whilst the UK is in lockdown. “It’s essential to keep that work-life balance, now, more than ever, given the circumstances. In order to do this, the systems we use to interact with our colleagues, during working hours must differ from preferred social platforms used personally, and in my experience, Microsoft Teams is by far the most appropriate for this. Because we are working and living in the same space, it’s important to separate work for living”
WWCS have been sharing top tips with their clients and have been releasing ‘Teams Tutorials’ on their LinkedIn to help engage both their clients, their clients employees and the general public who may need support using Microsoft Teams effectively whilst not being in the office.
